Research conducted by the Royal Institute of British Architects found that over 50% of new homes in the UK are too small for families. Many of them would benefit from a small atrium orangery like this one and its matching brickwork. It still manages to provide very distinct and cosy dining and lounging areas in the neatest of spaces. One of its foremost features is the atrium roof, enormously effective at creating the illusion of spaciousness by transferring light inwards.
