Once their children had grown up and moved out, Iain Ross and his partner downsized and swapped their old, cavernous family home for a bungalow. After settling in, they quickly realised that their new property wasn’t big enough for their needs.
The Ross Family's
White UPVC Conservatory
A classic conservatory with timeless white Extreme UPVC frames.
Overcoming tricky site conditions, Clearview delivered the Ross family with a classic white conservatory that added space and value to their bungalow.
Rather than go through the process of moving for the second time in three years, Iain and his partner decided to expand. Their previous home had a summer porch and although they wanted something similar, they felt that they would get more use out of a space designed for year-round use.
We had done some work on the Ross family’s previous home. After being extremely impressed with our service and the quality of our Extreme UPVC windows, we were an obvious choice. Iain approached us to design and build a classic white conservatory that would give the Ross family the extra space they needed.
The build itself was challenging, but not a problem for our skilled installers. An initial test dig unearthed mounds of buried rubble where the foundations needed to be.
Our building teams worked diligently to clear the area and make the ground suitable for the building work to commence. With clear lines of communication between our teams on the ground, the family’s dedicated Project Manager and Iain himself, we kept everyone updated on the status of the build.
Thanks to the skill and effort of those involved, we managed to deliver the project on time – much to Iain’s delight.
Once completed, the Ross family turned their new living space into a dining area that gets used every day. This classic white UPVC conservatory has opened up the bungalow, providing the property with more space, as well as boosting its overall value.
